U.S. Based, nonprofit charitable organizations classified as a 501(c) (3) public charity by the Internal Revenue Service, or a public school district, private/public elementary and secondary schools as listed by the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). American Honda Motor Co., Inc. does not provide support for individuals, religious or political affiliated organizations, or organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, age, religion, sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, veteran or military status, marital status, family status, genetic information, or any other status protected by law.

The American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Corporate Community Relations department strives to enrich the social and economic well-being in communities where we work and live by supporting organizations and programs in the areas of Arts & Culture, Civic, Diversity, Education, Environment and Health & Human Services. American Honda began their first national philanthropic effort, National Youth Project Using Minibikes (NYPUM) as an innovative way to engage at-risk or disadvantaged youth. For over 50 years, Honda has built partnerships with local organizations and has assisted their efforts through monetary, in-kind and volunteer support.
